According to the American Pet Products Association survey, 54% of American households owned a dog from 2021-2022, and the number keeps rising. Yet only 8% of those pet pooches are taken to obedience classes. Could that be why so many dogs are given up? During those same years, over 3 million dogs were put in shelters, 670,000 put down, and 620,000 returned to their owners. How could a little training have solved this dog retention problem? I believe it would have helped drastically!

Private Lessons
Private Lessons last 45-60 minutes, and we'll work with you and your dog to meet your specific training goals. You will learn how to effectively communicate with your dog to get amazing obedience. Next, we'll teach you how to apply that training to life.
The benefit of this program is that you get trained alongside your dog, and lessons are cheaper than choosing a board and train program. Owners who invest time and commitment into training really do well with this option.

10 Day Foundations
Basic Training Program
The first week of any board and train program is the most instrumental, so we decided to offer you a 10-day board and train program where your dog receives intense foundational training, while also getting you, the owner, involved in the process!
With the Foundations program we’ll teach your pup the essential obedience skills like sit and stay during his 10-days stay here AND we start reversing poor behavior. You'll learn how to maintain and advance your dog's training though two, one-hour long lessons with our trainer. The first lesson is usually held on days 7, 8, or 9 and the second lesson is at pick up, day 10. This program is perfect for families going on vacation and who desire their dogs to meet their full potential.

If your dog chronically struggles with leash pulling, jumping up on people, rudely darting out the door, needs to overcome some fears, or any other impolite tendencies, this is the program for him!
Obedience and Manners is a thorough, on-leash, 3-week training program where we teach your dog necessary obedience skills such as sit, down, stay, and heel while also combating the problematic behaviors you just can't ignore any longer. Usually, owners come for their first lesson sometime after week one then again at pick up. We do the hard part! All you need to do is maintain the training and new good habits at home!

Advanced Obedience and Recalls
Are you looking to have more fun, leash-free freedom with your canine companion where he can roam freely yet will immediately come back when called?
In this 6 week long program, your pup will learn all the obedience and manners covered in the 3-week program then will move on to off leash training. Your dog will be able to sit, stay, heel, and come without leash promptings. He’ll have freedom to roam and explore freely yet understand the rules that come with this privilege. A high quality, waterproof, dogtra e-collar is included in this program, which we use as a signal to gain attention and focus and NOT as a means of torture or as a “shocking device.”
The benefits include confidence that your dog will reliably return when called, the ability to hike the woods without tangling up a leash, while also allowing him to burn the extra calories (and you don't have to run with him to do so!) This program is our trainer's favorite!
